Skorchill is the boss of the Lanayru Temple in . They begin the fight focused on using ice attacks but can switch over to fire mid-fight. This means you will want to have both elements that can counter Skorchill easily. In addition, having some form of melee damage can also be useful for piling on extra attacks. Echoes that fight in the front lines are also a good means of keeping Zelda out of danger.
Skorchill isn’t a hard boss compared to other threats in. They are more of a puzzle to teach you about elemental weaknesses and resistances. Having both strong Echoes and a selection of healing Smoothies will allow you to deal with much of what Skorchill dishes out. But, getting through Lanayru Temple can drain your supplies if you haven’t stocked up enough. If you need to, head back to town and ensure you have plenty of items.
The main way to defeat Skorchill is to have the right form of attack that deals fire and ice damage. This makes collecting a few key Echoes important before entering Lanayru Temple. You should collect every Echo in if possible. Some of them are especially handy for traveling around locations. But, if you are in a rush, focus on the following.

They are found on the third floor of Eldin Temple. Destroy the blocks in the way with Bombs of Might. Then, defeat the Wizzrobe with ranged Echoes.
Ice Wizzrobe
A spell caster that freezes the air and creates ice.
Travel to Hebra Mountain Waypoint. Go northeast to a lake with three small islands and three big ones. Defeat this Wizzrobe is similar to the previous one.
Wolfos
A beast that encircles its prey before striking.
Found roaming Hyrule Field. Best defeated with ranged attacks.
White Wolfos
A large alpha Wolfos that can summon its kin.
Found on the fourth floor of Lanayru Temple. This makes it a quick addition on the way to Skorchill.
