As of the first Patch 11.0.7 PTR build, there are two debuffs in Siren Isle that restrict flying:
Siren Isle is quite different with storms abound!
Wiith these mechanics in play, we could ask ourselves, will my experience in Siren Isle be bad without the ability to fly? We have discovered two mechanics allowing flight, but first let's talk a bit about the size of the new zone.
Although Siren's Isle has a fair amount of verticality, the isle itself is actually very small — Content creator SoulSoBreezy made size comparisons with other zones, and concluded that Siren Isle is smaller in terrain than Mechagon, which was already a small island even while it was current in Battle for Azeroth — And several leagues smaller than some of the more giant zones we have to this day, such as Isle of Dorn.
Now of course, whether you want flight or not is mostly subjective, but it is good to have a base for how big the isle is. With that being said, we found two ways to allow for flight (limited or not) in Siren Isle.
