The first Pokemon TCG Pocket Promo set is almost complete with its latest release
A new Mewtwo promo card is now available in Pokemon TCG Pocket.
The card, which is an art-rare variant of the rare Mewtwo card already available in the game, is redeemable for players who have paid for the game’s Premium Pass.
The Mewtwo promo card is one of the last promo cards that is planned for release in the first set of Pokemon TCG Pocket Promo cards. Thus far, 21 promo cards have been made available either via missions, or via the in-game shop. Two remaining cards will be released as part of a promotional event which is expected to kick off next week.
Another Pokemon TCG Pocket limited event is currently underway, with the chance to collect a special art rare card of Venusaur.
Pokemon TCG Pocket has reportedlypassed $120 million dollars in earnings since its full release.
Earlier this month, The Pokemon Company released the first roadmap for the mobile game and detailed some of the updates that will be coming soon.
“To begin with, we plan to add new booster packs by the end of the year,” it wrote on social media. “In addition, we are aiming to add a feature that allows certain cards to be traded starting in January, 2025. We are planning to gradually expand the selection of cards that are able to be traded.”
It added: “Also, we have other new features in development outside of the trade feature introduced here. We plan to announce more details about the update as the dates for the addition of these features are finalized, so please look forward to it.”
