Subtlety Rogue in the War Within
Rogue didn't get a lot of changes with The War Within. This makes Hero Talents the highlight feature. This article will focus on hero talents and highlight the benefit each of them provides. I will also point at rough edges, and talk about bugs, tuning, and other shortcomings.
So without further ado, let's start out with Hero Talents.
Hero Talent Showdown: Deathstalker vs. Trickster
For Hero Talents, Subtlety Rogues have to pick between Deathstalker and Trickster. The central mechanic of Deathstalker is Deathstalker's Mark, talents of this tree are designed in a way to increase damage to the target affected by it. Then there is Trickster, which plays around Unseen Blade, collecting stacks leading up to a big damage hit with Coup de Grace. Trickster has a very unqiue Talent for cleave — Nimble Flurry. This Talent allows you to keep using your single target rotation with more targets.
Both Hero Talent options have gameplay-altering talents that spice up your rotation by adding benefits to the use of unconventional spells. To give one example of what this means, the use of the AoE builder Shuriken Storm becomes relevant on a single target due to the Hero talent
