Restoration Shaman in the War Within
Heading into The War Within, Restoration Shamans will get to choose between Totemic and Farseer as our new Hero Talents. These are meant to add some new options to the spec as you level up, and sort of take the talent trees we're used to from Dragonflight and further add onto them. They can be changed just like other talents, and once you're level 80 you'll have access to all of the nodes, meaning the only choices you're really making are which Hero Talent you want to play when, and which choice nodes you wish to play with. This article compares Totemic and Farseer to hopefully make the decision making process a bit easier once you're max level. Unlike some other specs, Totemic and Farseer are actually quite well balanced at the moment, so the option really is up to the player in how they want to play and which one they prefer for the content they're doing.
