The Luau takes place on the beach on the 11th of every Summer between 9 AM and 2 PM. With the right ingredients, the potluck can be a great friendship booster, raising your friendship with the people of Pelican Town, including bachelors and bachelorettes. A good general rule of thumb is thatmore profitable and higher-quality items get better responses when added to the potluck. However, there are exceptions.
The player will be unable to interact with the other homes and shops during the Luau, so there is no excuse not to go and try it out.
