The 3% damage raid buff Severed Threads is not available this week. Players can start collecting the currency in preparation, but the first turn in is not completable until next week.

Severed Threads Buff

The The Finer Things quest is now available inside the Nerub-ar Palace Raid entrance. Players need to collect 16 Nerub-ar Finery to complete the quest.

Players can currently collect 1 Nerub-ar Finery per boss, up to a maximum of 8. This means that the buff will not actually be available until next week.

The buff is Severed Strands which was last reported at 2.25% by Blizzard on beta, but the buff is 3% on live so we're unsure which is the correct amount.

TL;DR

The raid buff is Severed Strands which can be obtained every other week.

Players must kill bosses to earn Nerub-ar Finery which has a rising cap of 8 per week
Turning in 16 Nerub-ar Finery grants one stack of Severed Strands which grants % damage and healing while inside the raid.
The buff and currency is Warband Wide, meaning you only need to do this once per account.
