is set to star in Ron Howard’s next movie, , a role in which he bares all in a full-frontal nudity scene that the actor had no real problem with.
Speaking to Variety about the upcoming movie, Law was asked about the scene, and his reasoning for doing so was simply because the movie called for it.
“It was in the script,” Law said. “It was a clear statement of who this character was. It’s important that we do it.”
Alongside Law, Eden features a star-studded cast for Howard’s next movie, with Ana de Armas, Vanessa Kirby, Sydney Sweeney, Daniel Brühl, Felix Kammerer, Toby Wallace, and Richard Roxburgh all set to star in the movie.
Eden will be directed and produced by Howard from a screenplay he co-wrote with Noah Pink. Howard has been developing the project for over a decade now. In addition, composer Hans Zimmer will be reuniting with Howard for the tenth time.
The film is based on the true story of a few European settlers coming to Floreana Island, an island located in Ecuador’s Galápagos Archipelago. The film recently had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. No wide-release information is available as of yet.
It is produced by Brian Grazer and Karen Lunder for Imagine Entertainment, Stuart Ford for AGC Studios, Bill Connor, and Patrick Newall.
