Netmarble’s new character collectible AFK RPG The King of Fighters is now in early access on Android. Not in all regions though, only in Canada and Thailand. If you’re in one of these countries, you can dive in right now and keep your progress after the grand launch.
The early access of The King of Fighters lets you snag Mature, a fighter from the Orochi clan with epic AoE skills. And characters like Iori and Leona, beloved icons from the classic The King of Fighters series, are also up for grabs.
If you’ve been around since the King of Fighters arcade days, the new version will be like a nostalgic trip. It brings back the retro pixel art graphics you might remember from the Neo Geo Pocket Color days, with fighters reimagined a bit.
The battles are bigger too with 5v5 team fights with focus on strategy. An AFK RPG, The King of Fighters is loaded with events dishing out tons of rewards.
The King of Fighters has been a fighting game legend since the ’90s, with over 15 titles released. With a fanbase that spans decades, it now has stepped into the AFK world. The game is now up for pre-registration, so check it out on Google Play Store.
If you are not in Canada or Thailand, you can pre-register for the game globally. Pre-register now, and you can grab 3,000 free draws and Vice, an Orochi-powered fighter. And Iori and Leona are free for pre-registrants, too!
