Grand Mountain Adventure is coming back to Android with a part 2. Created by Toppluva, the first game in the series hooked over 20 million players. In case you don’t know, Toppluva consists of three Swedish brothers Viktor, Sebastian and Alexander who love snowboarding as much as they love making games.
In the game, you’re at the base of a massive snow-covered mountain, skis strapped on, to carve through the powdery slopes. The game gives you an open-world ski resort to explore. It’s actually a giant winter playground.
The ski resorts in this game are huge. You get busy slopes which have skiers, serene backcountry trails and cliff drops. And if you get tired of skiing or snowboarding, there’s always ziplining, paragliding and even longboarding.
The mountain feels quite alive with nice features like changing weather, avalanches, rolling rocks and dynamic day-night cycles. The Zen Mode lets you have the slopes all to yourself if you just want to chill without dodging other skiers or tackling challenges.
The new trailer Toppluva dropped gives a glimpse of what’s in store, so take a look!
There are tons of choices in the game when it comes to exploration. You can take the ski lift and stick to the groomed pistes. Or you can ditch the main trail and find hidden spots in the deep forest.
The game has hundreds of challenges as well. From slalom and big air to slopestyle and downhill racing, there’s a lot. There’s even an extreme Double-Diamond difficulty which will test your skills to the limit.
You get plenty of tricks like spins, flips, grabs and rails to try out. You can even pull off advanced moves like nose presses or tapping a tree with your ski tip for extra points. Completing challenges earns you new skis, snowboards and clothing with performance stats.
Grand Mountain Adventure 2 is coming to Android on February 6th, 2025. It’s now open for pre-registrations, so check it out on the Google Play Store.
