A new gameplay trailer dropped for Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream, an upcoming single-player stealth narrative, during the December PC Gaming Show.
The new trailer introduces the full trio of protagonists that players will be using, Hanna, Alva, and Sebastian, who are all on a quest to find Hanna’s missing brother. In this early 1900s-era game, players navigate the streets and underground of Eriksholm, a downtrodden, Nordic-inspired city gripped by corruption.
Eriksholm utilizes a top-down 3D style with stunning graphics as players sneak around the city and solve puzzles in this strategic stealth adventure. Players can swap between the three characters in order to unlock different interactions, find new areas, and utilize different skills for varying scenarios.
The trailer unveiled at PC Gaming Show has a mix of the narrative threads and actual gameplay, with characters drawing attention from NPCs and knocking out others. There’ll also be an extended gameplay trailer unveiled this week.
Eriksholm is the first game by River End Games, a Swedish studio that touts experienced industry devs, including a writer from Mirror’s Edge, a Senior Level Designer from Little Nightmares 1 & 2, and more across games like the Battlefield franchise. It’s slated for a 2025 release on Steam, Epic Games Store, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, though no specific window has been shared yet.
