The UK's very last physical games chart of 2024 doesn't hold too many surprises, but mixing in with the games you'd expect are a few past bestsellers.
Elden Ring hasn't been in the top 40 for a couple of weeks, but re-enters the top 10 at number six. Meanwhile, Grand Theft Auto V has jumped up from 16th to eighth, and Cyberpunk 2077 Ultimate Edition rejoins at number nine.
It's very likely these have all had a bump thanks to holiday season price cuts, but whatever the case, they've shaken things up a little as the new year gets started.
Number one goes to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, followed by Hogwarts Legacy in second and EA Sports FC 25 in third. Sonic X Shadow Generations, no doubt buoyed by Sonic the Hedgehog 3's arrival in cinemas, is up from 13th to 10th.

Was tarrying a bit in Shadow of the Erdtree yesterday, Elden Ring is so special. HFW, GoW have all the super graphics yet I have more screenshots of ER than those 2, art direction is just the thing. Found a path that's been right under the nose in the Fort of Reprimand, a place I've treaded a million times, intriguing how they hide things in plain sight.
