Coffee Stain Publishing and Iron Gate Studios have just revealed the latest update coming to that brings both the Bog Witch and feasts fit for a Viking. The Swampy areas in the title are known for being eerie and fear-inducing, as several threats lurk within the murky waters just waiting to catch players off guard. The developers seem to think the increasingly hostile environment needed a spooky vendor to aid fans on their travels.
The Bog Witch is the latest vendor to hit the title, hiding away in a rickety wooden hut, waiting to offer their spices, potions, and new materials to help players traverse the Swamps and craft new items. More so, chefs and homebodies will rejoice at the new feasts that have been added. These dishes come from different areas found in, meaning players will need to locate the ingredients from the location the recipe hails from.
The Bog Witch is not the only new feature being introduced to, as players will now be able to throw down in the kitchen to whip up hearty feasts. With the new additions to the cooking system, of course, comes a new Cooking skill for those wanting to fine-tune their culinary skills to make living in the afterlife a bit easier. The more dishes one cooks, the higher their Cooking skill gets, which in turn will grant the player an increased chance to craft additional food items.
A new tease for one of Valheim's best biomes could further explore a fantasy area of the popular indie game that has massive potential going forward.
With the new feasts, Vikings will need new ingredients, which is where the new farming features come into play. A scythe has been added that makes harvesting crops quick and easy, but there will now be a Farming skill to level up as well. Increasing the Farming skill will reduce the amount of stamina used while using the Cultivator and will grant players a chance to yield more crops from a singular harvest.
While there are cooking features and mechanics in, this upcoming update adds a bit more
