A reliable gaming leaker has suggested that PlayStation's Horizon series might soon be collaborating with Lego again, although it's not clear if it's going to be a new set or a video game.
Everyone loves a good collaboration, and Lego is no stranger to partnering with some of the biggest franchises around. Over the years, there have been Lego-fied Marvel superheroes, Lord of the Rings and Star Wars. Soon enough, PlayStation's popular Horizon series will reportedly be getting a second collaboration, if a recent rumour is to be believed.
Over on Twitter, Kurakasis reported that Sony is preparing for a collaboration with Lego. They said, "it is related to their well-known IP [and] the announcement is expected soon", although they didn't give any more details about what the "well-known" IP in question actually was going to be.
Reliable gaming leaker Tom Henderson added fuel to the fire by sharing that an announcement was "on the horizon." That "horizon" clearly being in reference to the title of PlayStation's Horizon: Zero Dawn and Horizon: Forbidden West games.
If Henderson's claims end up being true, it would mark the second collaboration between PlayStation and the toy company. A Tallneck Lego set was released in late 2022, which was based on Forbidden West. It also featured a minifig of series protagonist Aloy and retailed at a modest $89.99.
Totaling a touch over 1,200 pieces, the set was well-received. With a Tallneck already created, the new set could be a Stormbird or Thunderjaw, or something else entirely. Horizon has a rich enough cast of robot dinosaurs and characters that pretty much anything is possible.
Okay, hear us out here. Henderson never specified what the collaboration is. Sure, it could be another buildable set. But what about a game, like Lego Batman or Lego: Star Wars? In a second post on social media he added, "But from what I know, there's a LEGO Horizon trailer that's ready to go."
