Hades 2 features a range of incantations and recipes for Melinoe to use, including an extremely helpful one that lets you craft your own Nectar to gift to characters.
Even though it's in Early Access, Hades 2 adds a ton of new content and mechanics to the formula that make it feel like a massive step forward from the first game. One of the biggest changes made in the sequel is the focus on Melinoe using her witchy abilities to craft items using alchemy and perform incantations to gain access to new abilities and mechanics during her run.
These incantations and craftable items make Melinoe's adventure feel very different from Zagreus' and give her more control over her journey to the Underworld. One of the most interesting and helpful unlocks of them all, though, is one that lets you craft your own Nectar to give to companions, getting rid of a little bit of the first game's infamous grind.
In both the first game and Hades 2, Nectar is an item that can sometimes be found during runs and then gifted to companions in order to increase your relationship with them. Not only will you get unique dialogue and interactions from doing so, but you'll also get Trinkets from the characters, which give special bonuses when you're outside of the hub world.
Nectar is an incredibly important part of Hades, but that importance makes it a bit of a pain since it's not always guaranteed to spawn and can be hard to find. That's not the case in Hades 2, however, as you can actually unlock a way to create your own using alchemy.
To unlock the recipe, you'll need to have defeated the second boss of the Surface run, who will drop a Golden Apple. Once you've grabbed that, your next conversation with Aphrodite when unlocking one of her Boons will result in her giving you the alchemy recipe for "Sweet Golden Nectar", which requires one Golden Apple and results in three Nectar in return.
Of course, getting to that point can be quite tough considering how difficult the Surface run is
