A new Fortnite Glider called Shadow's Bite has garnered some attention from fans who believe their characters should be able to ride the motorcycle. Countless Gliders have been added to Fortnite since its release, but this one may have missed a key opportunity.
During some downtime, the Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 2 update was dropped and since then, players have been exploring the new Battle Pass and island changes. The Battle Pass is Greek mythology-themed, and it includes characters like Hades, Poseidon, and Cerberus. With each skin having a LEGO Fortnite counterpart, gamers can equip their favorite seasonal skins in the LEGO crossover modes. While Epic Games offers players the opportunity to pay for Battle Pass progression, many players are unlocking things through completing challenges and earning experience in Battle Royale. However, with more players finishing the first few tracks of levels, some have started to point out a missed opportunity with one of the Gliders.
Reddit users Wokenaizen and ZZeus3 are among the vocal Fortnite fans expressing disappointment in Cerberus' Shadow's Bite Glider. The Glider is an impressive black and gold motorcycle that glows blue and features the Cerberus icon at the front, with players that reach level 8 in the Battle Pass able to upgrade the Cerberus Glider so that it becomes the Immortal Shadow's Bite. Those that are disappointed about this item take issue with how their character holds onto two bars near the rear wheel to glide down from the Fortnite Battle Bus, rather than allowing them to sit on the bike. Given that the motorcycle features a seat like most similar vehicles, it may have only required the developer to animate a sitting position for the starting moments of the game.
