Fortnite may be crossing over with Planet of the Apes in time for the new movie, at least according to a reliable industry insider. There have been plenty of guest characters from across the realms of film, television, and even other video games in Fortnite, with one of the most recent ones adding the titular heroine from The Legend of Korra as a playable character skin.

He didn’t give any details about what this crossover might entail, but fans are already guessing that it could involve playable character skins or other cosmetics pulled from the Planet of the Apes films.
While nothing has been verified regarding this supposed Fortnite/Planet of the Apes collaboration, the timing arguably couldn’t be better. As mentioned before, a new Planet of the Apes movie is set to hit theaters on May 10, titled Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. Set nearly 300 years after the events of War for the Planet of the Apes, Kingdom will show the fabled ape civilization at the height of its power, with a chimpanzee named Noa joining a primitive
