Sky: Children of the Light is turning five in a few months and Tokyo is where the party’s at! On July 13th and 14th, thatgamecompany is throwing SkyFest, a special event. It’ll be a community gathering full of adventure and fun. It’ll also mark the first in-person and in-game Assembly event for the game!
Sky: Children of the Light is rolling out SkyFest as a big thank you to everyone who’s been a part of their journey. The team has planned a lot of exciting stuff for the big event. You’ll get to wander through a life-sized Aviary Village. Just imagine how exciting it would be to experience what you usually see on the screen up close on the streets.
Developers from the game will be on hand during the SkyFest. They’ll also be dishing out the behind-the-scenes stories of Sky’s creation. You’ll also have a chance to meet the creators of the recently launched ‘The Art of Sky’ book. There’ll be an art exhibit displaying some of the game’s stellar visuals. You can also snap awesome pics at various photo spots around the event.
Fret not, no need to book a flight to Tokyo to feel the love. thatgamecompany has got you covered with a virtual in-game SkyFest. So, players from all over the world can be part of SkyFest. They’ll roll out special mini-games during the event. And, there’s the hush-hush announcement that’s going to reveal what’s in store for Sky down the road.
I like this game for its stunning visuals and storyline. If you haven’t played it yet, grab it from the Google Play Store. By the way, SkyFest entry is ticket-based, and they’re planning some surprises for ticket holders. The scoop on tickets will hit thatgamecompany’s Japanese social media soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
