Fortnite and Bandcamp have just announced an unexpected collaboration. When Fortnite first appeared, it only had Battle Pass skins and a few Item Shop skins that would rotate quite frequently. As the game and the members in its community grew, more skins would be designed for it to diversify those that players would see every day; consequently, the Item Shop's size would also significantly increase over time.
As the years went by, the uproar and popularity surrounding Fortnite increased to the point that nearly everyone knew about the game's existence — this made other types of collaborations possible. Eventually, Fortnite teamed up with artists, brands, and franchises to create skins and much more. From anime skin collabs to Ariana Grande in-game concerts, nearly everything that could be thought of was making its way to Fortnite. The game even made it possible for characters from different consoles to meet and battle; for example, Halo's Master Chief and God of War's Kratos.

At this point, fans aren't even surprised most of the time that they hear that a new collab is coming to Fortnite. Oddly enough though, that actually wasn't the case this time around when it was announced that Bandcamp — an online indie music store acquired recently by Epic Games — would be put in the game. Now, just like what happened when the Eminem event took place last Summer, Bandcamp is taking over one of Fortnite's in-game radio stations.
