Fortnite's latest pack isn't attributing levels as intended for players that have already reached level 1,000. Each time a new Fortnite season starts, players' season level goes all the way back down to zero; this doesn't happen with account levels since these accumulate as long as they play the game, so players can see how many times they've leveled up after creating their accounts. The season level resets because a new Battle Pass becomes available, and its rewards are distributed according to the player's level.

During the first chapter of the game, players could only increase their season level up to level 100; however, as time went by, Bonus Rewards were introduced and this number had to increase.
