Fortnite chapter four's first season kicked off with a trailer confirming a handful of new crossover characters for the battle royale game's already massive roster. Doom Slayer, MrBeast, and Geralt of Rivia among them. Geralt's quests and cosmetics were saved for later in the season, and now all of them are available to unlock, players have been left disappointed by the incredibly subtle differences between the two Witcher skins.
As highlighted by GamesRadar, the first Witcher skin you're able to unlock is simply called Geralt of Rivia. Another pretty impressive effort by Epic to make a character from an entirely different style of game fit its Fortnite aesthetic. The second page of Witcher rewards is now available to unlock, part of which is an alternate Viper School Geralt skin. However, you'll need to look very closely to notice the differences.

You can take a look at the OG Witcher skin below and then the Viper School alternate a little further on in this article. If you flick back and forth quickly and multiple times, you might notice that yes, they are different. The newer skin is a slightly different color, but as some of you have already pointed out on Reddit, even calling it a recolor is a stretch as the two are almost identical.
Others have questioned why Epic couldn't have pulled different armor from The Witcher 3 considering the various looks Geralt has in the game. Some would have even been happy with Geralt's Netflix show armor being used as an alternate. Effectively anything The Witcher has ever worn that isn't the armor above would have been a more distinctive upgrade.
