Genshin Impact has officially revealed the release date of the Special Program event for update 3.6. Developer HoYoverse usually hosts a live stream even before every new update that reveals most of the upcoming content including new regions, characters, and weapons.

These live stream events always feature at least three promotional codes, each of which includes 100 Primogems and valuable character progression materials. Genshin Impact's official social media accounts have already confirmed that version 3.6 will introduce two popular characters, the Sumeru architect Kaven and Baizhu, the proud owner of the Bubu Pharmacy in Liyue.

According to the tweet, the Genshin Impact 3.6 Special Program event will be held on March 31 at 08:00 AM (UTC-4). The event will give valuable information about the two new characters, both of whom are confirmed to be Dendro users. Baizhu will have a five-star rarity while Kaveh will be a four-star character, which means that they could both be placed on the same Limited Character Banner. This would make it much easier for players to add both of them to their roster since they would need to spend their Primogems on only one banner.
