Fortnite Confirms Addition Of Sam Wilson Captain America
You know that scene in Avengers: Endgame where Thanos is laying into Captain America, who then gets a radio message from Sam Wilson saying, "On your left" and everyone in the theater went wild? Well this isn't exactly the same thing, but Fortnite has finally added Sam Wilson's version of Captain America to the game. The new Cap is now available in the Fortnite Item Shop, along with all his accessories. This addition is accompanied by Fortnite's newest hero, BriteStar.
"Picking up the shield is no easy feat. Geared up and ready for battle, the Captain America - Sam Wilson (MCU) Outfit comes with Cap’s Shield, which is both a Back Bling and a Pickaxe," reads the description. "And recreated by the Wakandan Design Group, the EXO-7 Falcon Wings Glider is also available in the Item Shop."

However, we're all familiar with Sam by now. It's BriteStar that has caught our eyes. "The BriteStar Outfit comes with the Brite Shield, which works as both a Back Bling and Pickaxe," says Epic. "Along with BriteStar’s default Style, the Outfit includes the Red Brite and Blue alt Style. If you want your shield to match, don’t worry — the Brite Shield Back Bling/Pickaxe has the same alt Style as well. Throw on her bomber jacket in the Locker for some extra flair!"
However, these additions don't really come as a surprise, as dataminers got to it first, revealing that the Item Shop had reserved a banner for a new collaboration, and added items related to Captain America.
