One of the fun things for people, particularly animal lovers, to do in is fill their vivariums with an assortment of magical beasts that are found in the game. Though the world of includes a vast number of fantastic creatures and beasts, keeps the collection a bit more streamlined with a total of 13 that players can tame and befriend. A couple of these can even be used as alternatives to brooms when traveling the countryside around Hogwarts Castle, whether in the air or on the ground.
Beasts and creatures in the universe are some of the most magical and majestic parts of the already beautiful and immersive game. Although they do pose some interesting philosophical debates on the player characters' handling of the animals, ultimately it is a rewarding and entertaining prospect. Having these beasts in the player's vivarium also provides the means to get much-needed crafting resources without having to purchase them, or selling the resources to get quick money. Some of them are also pretty adorable too, adding to their value from a roleplaying perspective.
Though a classic in magical fantasy, the Giant Purple Toad is the least impressive of the beasts. Particularly because the Giant Purple Toad is not a pleasant-looking animal, particularly with the large warts that cover their backs, which really doesn't help endear them to anyone.
Players can harvest Toad Warts from these creatures, which can be used for upgrading gear at the Enchanted Loom. Even the description of its care says that players need to brush the beast in order to get the warts, and one can only imagine how off-putting it would be to brush a slimy toad to get its warts, and then use them to weave into clothing. Players could also just buy a wart for only 400 galleons.
Fwoopers are interesting looking birds, having a face similar to owls and featuring vivid colors that would have fit in perfectly in the 1980s. This colorful bird would be fun to experience in real life, although it comes with the drawback
