We might have gotten the first real-time look at NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5090, as it has been spotted running inside a GPU factory in Indonesia, presumably a ZOTAC testing facility.
It is undoubtedly an interesting development over the weekend, one which we didn't anticipate by miles to come. Still, it looks like the first look of NVIDIA's flagship RTX 50 series GPU might be here, and while the images are surely vague, they seem like legit ones.
From a Chiphell thread (via Olrak), NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5090 GPU can be seen running in what is supposed to be testing units before the specific GPU is shipped out, and a video of the GPU factory uploaded on Bilibili has given us a rather interesting look of NVIDIA's upcoming SKU.
Interestingly, this particular GPU factory is used as a workaround for US sanctions, as the video's description reveals that the facility in Indonesia is used to ship out GPUs to China, and a similar will be the case with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5090.
While there is a very slight possibility that the GPU in the images isn't an actual NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090, given that we haven't seen such an existing design in the markets, it points towards the fact that the SKU in sight is indeed something newer. ZOTAC was also the first one to leak the RTX 4090 ahead of launch when the first custom model was pictured at one of its factory back in September 2022.
Upon close examination of the images, we can see ZOTAC's logo in the center of the fan blades, which shows that the firm has serious flaws in its supply chain and NDA measures. The GPU looks gigantic from the image's angle, coming in with a three-slot design with three fans cooling it down, and is powered by a single 12V-2x6 power
