Saber Interactive, the developer behind , promised to add a wealth of new content to the game post-launch, and it's finally delivering on its promises. While it added a number of major additions to the game in its first major update, including the Battle Barge Arena and ultrawide support, it has a lot of even bigger and better content to add. From new missions to extra weapons, fans have plenty to look forward to.
The second major update is adding a new PvE Operation, a new difficulty setting, a new weapon, and even more cosmetics for players to unlock. Of course, the highlights of this update are the Lethal difficulty setting and Operation, both of which will add significant replay value to the game. Luckily, there are plenty of details surrounding both for players to get excited about.
Lethal difficulty is an optional difficulty setting for theOperations mode, which is a step up from the previous most difficult setting, Ruthless. It changes a handful of aspects of Operations gameplay in order to make it significantly harder, giving players a truly challenging experience that will make even the most hardened of Space Marines quiver. Enemies will be harder to kill, armor doesn't restore like it does traditionally, and ammo crates are far more limited.
However, importantly, players will get significantly better rewards if they complete an Operation on Lethal difficulty, giving them a huge incentive for choosing it over the easier difficulty. For those who are interested in unlocking these new cosmetics, then picking the Lethal difficulty is a must. Of course, the Lethal difficulty is available for those who prefer playing the Operations solo, although it will be much harder.
