releases for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on July 19, EA announced on Thursday. While the full reveal isn’t until Friday, the publisher shared the cover art for the upcoming game’s Standard and Ultimate Editions.
The cover features Michigan running back Donovan Edwards, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, and Colorado wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter. The Standard Edition shows them in the middle of the stadium, looking down at the camera. Meanwhile, EA College Football 25 Ultimate Edition has the trio entering the stadium with their backs to the camera. Alabama’s Jalen Milroe, Ohio’s Quinshon Judkins, and Georga’s Carson Beck also appear in the crowd of other players.
“Donovan, Quinn and Travis are extraordinary talents who impressed and entertained millions of college football fans on the field last season and are poised to do so again this year,” said EA Sports Senior VP Daryl Holt.
“To represent the burnt orange on the real and virtual gridirons is such an honor,” said Ewers. “EA Sports games were the first place I lived out my childhood dream of playing for the Longhorns, so it’s a full-circle moment to now be on the cover of College Football 25.” Edwards and Hunter spoke similarly. Edwards called it an honor, and Hunter said he’s proud to represent their teams on the game’s cover.
Sports fans can preorder the Standard Edition for $70 or the Ultimate Edition for $100. EA also offers the MVP Bundle, which includes the Ultimate Editions of EA College Football 25 and Madden NFL 25. The $150 MVP Bundle also grants players three days of early access to both games.
