Can you believe it? It’s been 80 years since D-Day arrived. I’m talking about World of Warships: Legends and its upcoming update that celebrates the 80th anniversary of D-Day. So, obviously, there are new campaigns, missions and special military honours to grab. Let’s give you the full scoop!
The next update drops in June. A new campaign called ‘Skyreaper from the Lowlands’ is first up in the queue. This will last five weeks and has 100 milestones. If you stick with it and get Admiralty Backing, you’ll score the Premium Dutch Tier VII cruiser, De Zeven Provinciën. You’ll also get a new historical Commander, Karel Doorman, to lead your naval fleet into battle.
For the 80th anniversary of D-Day or should I say the Normandy landings, World of Warships: Legends has a bunch of missions lined up. They’re loaded with collectible cards through which you’ll unlock the French Tier III battleship Courbet 1944. Also, the store’s got historical ships like Texas, Belfast and the new destroyer Haida ready for action.
This update’s bringing some great adjustments for all the aircrafts. Expect bigger hangars, faster reload times, more bombs, and new plane fuel mechanics. And if football is your thing, then the Goleador Championship web event kicks off on June 10th. Score goals and unlock 24 special T-shirt patches, consumable camouflages and a permanent camouflage for Fiji.
Two new Brawl seasons are also part of the update. Fleet Battles are back too, with five-player divisions duking it out for some epic rewards. Want to take a look at all that’s happening? Catch a glimpse of what’s in store for the 80th anniversary of D-Day in World of Warships: Legends!
