First Look at New Xal’atath's Bargain Mythic+ Affix
Here’s a first look at the new Xal’atath Mythic+ Affix in the War Within!
Xal'atath's Bargain: Ascendant and Xal'atath's Guile are brand new Mythic+ affixes planned for War Within Season 1. While Guile is straightforward and needs no further explanation, Bargain is a little more complex.
Do you remember Raszageth sparks? If so, you’ll be very familiar with this Mythic+ affix!
Active in +2-11 keys, about every minute (Thundering flashbacks) Xal’atath will show up and will summon four waves of 5 Orbs of Ascendance, which only cast Cosmic Ascension.
If successful, this will buff other mobs with +20% movement speed and Haste per orb/cast. Like Raszageth Sparks, the Orbs absorb all damage and feature the Magic buff Unstable Power, so the only way to kill them is to stop their cast, by interrupting, displacing them, crowd controlling them, or purging them.
Successfully stopping the cast buffs all players with Cosmic Ascension, granting 1% haste and movement speed per stack for 20 seconds, to maximum of +20% per event.
