To say that Diablo 4’s Season of the Construct landed with a thud last week would be an understatement. Following complaints, Blizzard Entertainment has released a new patch, toughening up the Echo of Malphas boss and making the Seneschal Construct more useful.
The former is now level 100 and has 30 percent more health. It rewards more Legendaries and 925 Level items, and thanks to the new Igneous Cores, which drop from Vault Heralds and Son of Malphas in World Tier 4, it’s easier to access the Uber Vault and Echo of Malphas. As for the Construct, crafting Governing or Tuning Stones always costs 200 Shattered Sons and 20 Iron Chunks.
The amount of XP required for leveling up the Stones is now less, allowing them to be “ranked up more naturally with your leveling experience.” Pearl of Warding also grants 10 Stacks of Warding instead of three, and you can carry up to 999 instead of 300. There’s also a grace period for the buff after getting hit by several traps, which means not losing multiple stacks in one go.
The Vault hazards have also seen some tuning, with Elemental Dart speed reduced by 20 percent, knockback removed from Obelisks and more. Check out the patch notes below for more details. There’s more to come in Season of the Construct, including The Gauntlet, so stay tuned.

Additionally, we have made the fight against Malphas more difficult but also increased the rewards it provides.
The Seneschal
Developer’s Note: We’ve received feedback that the Seneschal does not feel powerful. The Seneschal becomes more powerful as it reaches max level, but we have
