Ravendawn has added a series of fishing price buffs, made group hunting more rewarding, added new Carnival-themed cosmetics, and updated the community on land expansion.
As the game continues its successful launch, the team is continuing to be responsive to fixes and adjustments that are needed to keep the game balanced. Fishing gets increases to the base silver value for several different fish species, to help make fishing more worthwhile. Among the changes include a 30% increase to the base silver value of tench, a 16% increase to the base silver value of Princess Fish, and smaller adjustments like the rainbow flounder now being bumped up by 4%. All changes range from 4% to 30% higher base price.
The team has also increased the party experience bonus from 6% to 10% to make it more viable and more worthwhile to go hunting in a party. Both are modest bonuses, but with the added monster spawns and adjusted rates, they’re hoping that partying up becomes more enticing. Adjustments have also come for a series of cooking recipes, adjusting everything from the number of resources, level, to how much experience you earn across a number of recipes.
The team unlocked the next certain Tradepacks and Tradeposts. They did this by lowering the average player level threshold to unlock some previously inactive ones. This means six new Tradepacks and one new Tradepost are now available. This action comes after balance issues nearly led to a reset for Tradepacks, but the team was able to resolve any issues.
Ravendawn also gets some RavenCoin adjustments to make it easier to buy cosmetics without having to pay too much for excess coin. They've also added new cosmetics to celebrate Carnival. The Carnival Moa, Carnival Ship, and Carnival Wagon are available individually, or in a pack with two bonus items. Those bonus items are the Carnival House Decoration and Carnival Bandit Companion.
