Fans of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 are calling for the long-lost Gunfight Tournaments mode to make a return in the new game. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 continues to experiment with various limited-time modes, and the return of Gunfight Tournaments would make some players extremely happy.
Gunfight Tournaments were first added in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (2019), and made a return in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. The mode took the standard Gunfight rules, in which two teams of two compete to eliminate the other in just 40 seconds, and put them into a tournament format. Even if the tournament brackets don't come back, giving it some sort of rank to fight for might suffice for many.
