Starfield Player Discovers Bizarre Anomaly While Exploring
One of the core aspects of Starfield is the exploration of the unknown, but one player's adventure across the cosmos has taken them to a truly strange anomaly which seems to have many in the community stumped. Though Starfield's exploration mechanics have been met with criticism from many fans, it's not uncommon for an odd new discovery to crop up online, proving that there are plenty of fun little curiosities to stumble across whether they're particularly important to the game or not.
Starfield is an extremely varied game, and though the spirit of exploring space may present the foundation of the game, players can invest countless hours just by playing as a space pirate, cargo hauler, or even a corporate agent. For those who do enjoy a more personal and relaxing voyage across the stars, however, Starfield does offer roughly a thousand planets to visit, so there's really no shortage of space to explore. Most planets and moons can be landed on and explored by foot, and there are hundreds of points of interest ranging from meteor impact sites to abandoned robot factories that can be discovered.
Sometimes, though, players will come across slightly more peculiar points of interest that usually arise as a result of a bug. One such discovery was recently made by the player known online as Quick_Mel, and features a weird cloud of black dust which contains small images of stars and galaxies. This anomaly was found on the planet Volii Epsilon, near to one of Starfield's temples which grants the opportunity to obtain new powers, and has quickly become a point of attention among the Starfield community. Many fans have their theories as to what this curiosity is and why it appeared, with some even suggesting that it might be a rare but intentional feature hinting at what's to come in the future of the game.
