Played by Keanu Reeves, the character plays a significant role in the story but those who weren't aware of his existence can get a hint while making a character.
Posted to Reddit by CwArD711, the user shared a screenshot of a surprising Easter egg that can be found on the last screen of the character creation process. Clicking the thumbprint in the bottom left corner causes the UI to glitch, changing the name at the top to read «Johnny Silverhand» alongside a description that appears to be song lyrics:
Players who may not be familiar with the story of could see this as a spoiler, given thata large part of the narrative focuses on Johnny Silverhand slowly taking over V's brain. The glitch in the character creation system cleverly foreshadows that the protagonist is constantly changing between their own personality and that of Silverhand.
While V may be the protagonist of, Johnny Silverhand is undoubtedly the start of the game. Reeves' performance earned plenty of praise from fans and critics, especially since many assumed he would simply serve as a brief cameo rather than a supporting character. While the rockstar generally shows up as holograms projected onto the environment through V's eyes, several missions require players to actually step into his boots and relive his memories.
