Just when you think you've seen every conceivable way for someone to crawl their way through Baldur's Gate 3's infamously tough Honor Mode setting, someone comes along with an even more ridiculous method that puts the prior one to shame. You won't find many as impressively baffling as this one though, as Reddit user Real-Business6593 recently showed off their playthrough in which they're beating Honor Mode with an undead army.
You may think that's not all that special, as you've summoned a skeleton or four in your time with Baldur's Gate 3, but you have seen an army quite like this one (thanks PC Gamer). Thankfully, they laid out their methods for raising this army in the comments, and it takes some pretty serious planning.
For starters, they made sure their Tav was a level 11 Cleric and level 1 Wizard, and had learned to conjure elementals with some handy scrolls. This allowed them to summon a dozen minions, including various forms of the undead and a spirit weapon. Shadowheart's secondary class is a Necromancer at level 6, and she's also equipped with Necromancy of Thay, the Crypt Lord Ring, and the Sights of the Seelie, which allows her to also summon a variety of undead and spirits, as well as poor Connor. That brings the party's minion total up to 32, while Karlach's ability as a level 3 Cleric allows her to bring the total up to 45. Scratch is also there as he is the best boy.
Minsc shares the same classes as Karlach and can summon the same mixture of undead, spirits, and other minions, but Real-Business6593 also gave him the Spider Egg Sac to throw in five baby spider minions for good measure. He can
