Bloober Team has plenty of irons in the fire, with Silent Hill 2’s long anticipated remake being the game that the studio is currently focused on most, but it looks like it will soon begin talking about its other projects as well.
In 2022, Bloober Team announced that it had partnered with Take-Two Interactive label Private Division for a new survival horror game, and the developer says that game will be officially unveiled sometime later this year. Spotted by @pl_evil on Twitter, the developer revealed in its recently published annual report that the game, codenamed Project C, will be announced later in 2024.
Bloober Team says that the project is in an “advanced” stage, and that it’s “very pleased with the current progress”.
“This will be the next big step of Bloober Team in order to implement a long-term strategy,” the developer said. “It will also be the first original project (IP belongs to Bloober Team) as part of the new strategy. The first announcement of the game will take place this year and we can’t wait to show the effect of our work on this unique title.”
In addition to Silent Hill 2 and Project C, Bloober Team has a couple more projects that it’s currently working on. Last year, it announced that it was working with Serial Cleaners developer Draw Distance on a new project codenamed Project M. Meanwhile, in December, it was announced that Bloober Team was working with The Walking Dead and Invincible owner Skybound Entertainment on a new project codenamed R, which is based on a Skybound IP.
