A brand new gameplay trailer is out, previewing the arrival of Jason Voorhees into the fighting game set to release this month.
After briefly teasing him in the game’s latest trailer, a new video dedicated fully to the character is out. In it, Velma, Stripe (from Gremlins), and others can be seen investigating a dark house, only to be attacked by Voorhees.
In a voiceover similar to that of classic horror movies, Voorhees is described as a massive brute of a character. The video also showcases some of his moves, including attacking people with a sleeping bag (a nod to one of his famous kills in 1988’s Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood), as well as transforming into the cyborg version of himself that appears in 2002’s Jason X.
