Concord, the upcoming sci-fi PVP multiplayer FPS from PlayStation's Firewalk Studios, is expected to receive a gameplay reveal soon.
At least, that's what reputable deals leaker 'Billbil-kun' has said. In a new article on French deals website Dealabs, the leaker writes that a second announcement for the game is expected to be made within 15 days from now. Although the exact date isn't sure, the leaker writes that new details will be shared during either the rumored PlayStation showcase or the Summer Game Fest 2024 on June 7. "This announcement is expected to feature at least some of the playable characters in the game with a preview of the gameplay", 'Billbil-kun' writes on Dealabs. "Let's also remember that we had stated that the game was inspired by the universe of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, following the first elements we had in our possession."
Concord from Firewalk was first announced back in May of last year. Interestingly enough, 'Billbil-kun' already suggested that Sony would be showing off the game during the State of Play broadcast back in January of this year. "The ad was even ready to be presented during State of Play which took place last January", the leaker writes. "However, this announcement did not take place for reasons that we do not yet know although we believe it was because of some problems encountered on the PC version."
Sony has yet to confirm a new PlayStation showcase, but recent rumors suggest that the event will take place later this month. We'll update you as soon as we learn more about either Concord or the rumored PlayStation event.
Concord has yet to receive an official release date, but according to Firewalk Studios, the game is coming to both PS5 and PC later this year. We've included the teaser trailer for Concord, as revealed last year, below:
