Helldivers 2 is an amazing game, but even the most dedicated super soldier out there has to admit it has its fair share of problems. Crashes, server issues, and disappointing patches are all problems that the game has suffered since launch, but one of the more consistent is the game struggling to dish out the rewards when players complete Major Orders.
Every time a Major Order is completed, you'll more than likely get a whole wave of players complaining that they haven't got their medal payouts, and Arrowhead has acknowledged that the current system is pretty useless at the minute. Thankfully, the developer plans on doing something about it in the near future, as community manager Twinbeard has explained on the game's Discord server that an "overhaul" of the system is planned (thanks GamesRadar).
"We will also do an overhaul in the future of the system handling these requests, as it's frankly about as reliable as a solar-powered watch in Malevelon Creek."
Twinbeard later goes on to clarify that it's just the delivery system that's getting overhauled, and not the medal currency players are used to, so there are no worries on that front. We don't quite know when Arrowhead plans on overhauling the system just yet, especially when it probably has its hands busy orchestrating the return of the Automatons as well as the potential introduction of the Illuminate.
In other Helldivers 2 news, it's all hands on deck right now, as the previously defeated Automatons have returned in full force, with brutal game master Joel describing the intitial force as a "vanguard" for the full assault. Not only have they taken bag a large portion of the galaxy, but they've also managed to liberate Cyberstan and the cyborgs, who have upgraded the Automatons to pose more of a threat.
