Minecraft players are frequently iterating on house designs to come up with the best possible creations, and this latest home design is among the more cozy ones out there.
When starting a new Survival world in Minecraft, players have many tasks they can accomplish, including starting a mine, foraging for food, crafting tools, and finding a village. In addition, building a structure at the outset to survive the hostile mobs that come out at night can make things much easier and less stressful, especially when playing on Hardcore. While players usually make something rudimentary to get things started, one builder took this early task to the next level.
In a post on Reddit, a user known as waxfraud shared what they described as their “starter house” in Minecraft. However, by the builder’s own omission, they went far beyond what was considered normal for an early build in the game. As illustrated in the screenshots, waxfraud built an incredibly detailed house composed of what appeared to be three levels. Among the ample details, the construction featured smoke stacks on the roof and flowers lining the windows. In addition, the creator placed a variety of lanterns at strategic positions to help light up the house at night, and they added what looked like a variety of stone blocks and trapdoors around the edges of the building for a nice touch.
While the building was tastefully designed, the setting was equally charming. The house sat next to a large body of water. In addition, there were cherry blossom trees nearby, and a large hill rose above the build in the distance. Furthermore, waxfraud used Minecraft shaders to help make the lighting pop.
