Which games are leaving PlayStation Plus in April 2024? It has been confirmed that no fewer than 11 titles will vanish from Sony’s massive on-demand library.
Scanning through the list there’s your usual mix of big hits and smaller indie games. Arcade and fighting game fans may be in for a bit of an upset with Soulcalibur VI and Fighting EX Layer both facing the chop alongside R-Type Final 2.
It’s not all bad news, of course. With more games leaving PlayStation Plus, more are being added with the March 2024 lineup being a doozy with highlights including Marvel Midnight Suns and NBA 2K24 as well as classics like Cool Boarders and Jak & Daxter: The Lost Frontier.

Speaking of PlayStation Plus classics, we could be seeing more games from publishers Rockstar and Konami. A company named Implicit Conversions – responsible for many of the emulated games we’ve seen appear on PlayStation Plus – lists both companies among its partners, suggesting that we could potentially see more from Grand Theft Auto, Silent Hill, and other popular series from the PS2 era.
In 2022, a PlayStation Plus relaunch rolled out around the world, transforming the PS Plus we once knew into a three tiered subscription service that bundles in and expands what was once PlayStation Now. The classic PS Plus is now called PS Plus Essential, giving access to online multiplayer gaming, cloud save backups, exclusive offers and at least 2 free monthly games. PS Plus Extra then adds a catalogue of PS4 and PS5 games into the mix, while PS Plus Deluxe and Premium (depending on your region) adds older PS2, PS1 and PSP game emulation, and game streaming for PS3 and other titles.
