Despite not being a recent release, Cyberpunk 2077 remains among the best-looking open-world released to date, thanks not only to the amazing post-launch support provided by CD Projekt Red but also thanks to the hard work of modders who continue improving the game's already excellent visuals.
A new 8K resolution video put together by Digital Dreams showcases the game running with one of the best graphics mods available, the Ultra Plus Better Path Tracing mod, whose latest version released a few days back introduced a variety of improvements, including increased bounce lighting from ground under roofs for improved realism and a 20 GB VRAM option. Needless to say, the game looks utterly stunning.
While CD Projekt Red has moved from Cyberpunk 2077 onto other projects, such as the fourth main entry in The Witcher series and the second entry in the series codenamed Orion, more visual improvements could be coming in the future, thanks to the latest version of NVIDIA DLSS, version 3.7. This new version of the upscaler, which introduces a new "E" preset, brings a sharper image and less ghosting, as highlighted by a comparison video shared earlier this month based on a modded implementation.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and Xbox One worldwide.
