Farming Brave weapons in is a necessary step for Guardians who desire to acquire top-tier gear with some of the best Traits to use both in PvE and PvP activities. Brave is a new category of weapons brought to Bungie’s popular shooter with the expansion, a F2P (free-to-play) limited-time piece of content added before the release of DLC later this Summer. Brave weapons are reruns of classic and fan-favorite gear from the franchise, reskinned and remodeled with several new Trait possibilities, thus, allowing for unique god rolls.
Some weapons, such as the ever-popular Scout Rifle Hung Jury or the Sword Falling Guillotine, have been incorporated into the Brave arsenal, offered by Shaxx. These special versions of the weapons cannot have their patterns extracted, meaning it’s impossible to craft them and mold them to your taste. Instead, if you want a god roll of a certain Brave weapon in, you will need to grind and farm them the old-fashioned way. It may take you several days before you get the roll that you want, but given the Traits on these weapons, it is worth the effort.
To start getting Brave Weapons, you first need to complete the short quest that sees you visit the Hall of Champions and talk to Lord Shaxx. You should be sent there automatically upon logging in but, in case you skipped the cutscene and missed the start of the quest, you can simply open your Director on the Destinations tab and click on the icon to then proceed into the Hall of Champions.
The activity itself should teach you how to get Brave Weapons but, for reference, you will need to complete activities related to in. These activities are called Onslaught. This is a wave-based defensive PvE activity in which you will need to fend off invaders trying to destroy your checkpoint.
