Fallout is one of the next big collaborations coming to Fortnite, which seemingly confirms the rumours that Chapter 5, Season 3 will have an apocalypse theme.
Ever since its Battle Royale mode kicked off in 2017, Fortnite has collaborated with tons of different IPs and series, from Family Guy all the way to Dragon Ball Z. Despite that, there are still a ton of characters and franchises that haven't been represented in the world of Fortnite yet, despite how many fans request it.
One of the series that seems like it would fit Fortnite the best but somehow hasn't appeared in the game up until now is Fallout, which stands as one of the most popular gaming franchises of the last few generations. Considering the Amazon show just released to rave reviews and reminded everyone why we want a new game so badly, it seemed like there was no better time than now. Apparently, Epic Games agrees.
Over the past few days, Fortnite has been teasing the theme and contents of Chapter 5, Season 3, which is only a little over a week away from happening. The teases so far have been pretty minimal, but the official Fortnite social media accounts have just confirmed a huge collaboration that will seemingly happen as part of the next update - Fallout.
The news of an impending Fallout collaboration was just shared over on the Fortnite Twitter account, which shared an image of a Brotherhood of Steel member standing in front of what appears to be a new point of interest. We don't know anything else about the crossover just yet aside from the fact that it'll feature the BoS' Power Armour in some way, but it can be assumed that there'll be a bit more to it.
It's possible that Fallout will be included as part of this season's Battle Pass, but it could also just be hinting at some content coming to the item shop. My bet is that it'll be a big part of the season and that we'll see Brotherhood of Steel members walking around The Island.
