Datamined Item Hints at Account-Wide Attunements in Season of Discovery Phase 4 PTR
With the release of the Season of Discovery Phase 4 PTR, Blizzard has revealed that the first two level 60 endgame raids will be Molten Core and Onyxia's Lair. These instances will be tuned for 20-player raids and will come with updated loot!
Experience Molten core as a 20-player dungeon with 10 classic bosses, revamped loot, redesigned Tier 1 sets, and more. Players will also be able to turn up the heat with a new variable difficulty mechanic. Don’t forget your fire resist gear! You are going to need it. We’ll be adding one more surprise to this classic raid dungeon for intrepid adventurer’s to discover.
Onyxia will also be adjusted to accommodate 40 or fewer players along with some additional loot adjustments.
In addition to this announcement, we have datamined a new Bind on Account Amulet, Chipped Drakefire Amulet, which appears to be an updated version of Drakefire Amulet. This amulet was originally rewarded from the Onyxia's Lair attunement quest, and was required in order to enter the raid. The fact that this new amulet is Bind on Account may suggest that players will only need to complete this raid's attunement quest once, allowing their alts to freely enter the raid afterwards.
