A new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla AMD FSR 3.0 Frame Generation mod has been released online, bringing considerable performance improvements in a variety of scenarios.
The new mod, developed by well-known modder PureDark, brings considerably better performance, more than double in most benchmark scenarios, in conjunction with the FSR 3.0 Performance setting on a ROG Ally, as shown by the modder in a new test video. Unfortunately, the mod is not available for free right now and is only available for Patreon supporters.
Last month, PureDark also released an Assassin’s Creed Valhalla NVIDIA DLSS 3, which supports both Super Resolution and Frame Generation, which work extremely well. NVIDIA Reflex support also ensures that input delay is kept as low as possible.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the latest main entry in the open-world series by Ubisoft. Released back in 2020, the game was later expanded with multiple expansions, although the base game is already a massive experience, as well as an enjoyable one, as I highlighted in my review.
Assassin's Creed Valhalla is a definite step up for the series, thanks to the many tweaks made to the RPG mechanics that powered the previous two entries in the series, better storytelling, great atmosphere, and meaningful side-content. Even with the tweaks, however, Assassin's Creed Valhalla is still an Assassin's Creed game at heart, so those who are not into the Ubisoft open-world game design will hardly change their opinion with the game. Everyone else will probably love every second of Eivor's adventure, especially if they are into Vikings and ancient Norse culture.
