Nexon and Sony have revealed The First Descendant PS5 graphical features available on Sony's console ahead of the game's launch next week.
The third-person looter shooter from Nexon releases globally across PC and consoles next week on July 2, and ahead of this release, we now know some more about the graphical modes on Sony's console. Although not yet specified, it's likely that these features will also be available on the Xbox Series X.
Not yet available in the game's beta, The First Descendant has a new Balanced Mode on PS5. In total, PS5 players will have access to three graphical modes - balanced, performance, and fidelity with the latter focusing on resolution, and the performance mode focusing on higher frame-rates. As you might guess, the Balanced Mode will fit in between these two modes.
On PS5, The First Descendant will also support Ray Tracing as well as AMD Frame Generation and Virtual Shadow Map (VSM), enhancing the game's overall visual quality.

Powered by Unreal Engine 5.2, The First Descendant launches next week on July 2nd for PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. On PC, the game will support HDR10+ Gaming and NVIDIA DLSS 3.
