Exploring Azeroth with Thalyssra and Lor’themar Theron
Islands and Isles will be the fifth installment in the Exploring Azeroth series. Like previous books in this series, it will follow in-game characters as they explore a part of Azeroth — this time First Arcanist Thalyssra and Lord Regent Lor’themar Theron, who are finally taking their honeymoon, after delaying it for years. The author, Alex Acks, also wrote the previous two Exploring Azeroth books: Northrend and Pandaria.
Unlike previous installments, which have always chosen a single continent to explore, Islands and Isles promises to cover the Broken Isles, Kul Tiras, Zandalar, and the Dragon Isles — the major destinations of three separate expansions. Though this means the currently available map of Azeroth will have been pretty much fully documented in the Exploring Azeroth series, this doesn't necessarily mean the series is coming to an end. There's plenty more of Azeroth to explore… perhaps the next Exploring Azeroth book, like the next expansion, will take us underground.
