Molten Core and New Raid at Level 50 Will Be 20-Player Size - Season of Discovery
Blizzard has announced that Molten Core and an unannounced level 50 raid will be 20-player size raids. This is something that has been a topic of discussion for some time, where Blizzard has previously stated they would be doing 40-player sized raids for Season of Discovery in Developer Interviews with the community.
It seems that Blizzard is trying to bridge the gap from 10 to 40-player raids with this change.
Could the unannounced Phase 3 20-player raid be a new wing of Scarlet Monastery or maybe Karazhan Crypts, which was teased back at Blizzcon 2023?
To help quell confusion, here’s a look at exactly what to expect in the net few phases in terms of raid size:
