A Starfield player has discovered a universe in which Sarah Morgan is a houseplant while playing New Mode Plus. Starfield is a fairly large game by default, where players have a lot to explore, but a new twist is put on exploration when Starfield players access New Game Plus.
Rather than being a repeat of the main story with modified items and enemies, Starfield's New Game Plus makes notable changes to the gameplay. The player's level and skills are carried over to New Game Plus, along with XP and challenge progress. However, mission progress and relationships are among the things that don't carry over. Because of this, a run in Starfield's New Game Plus causes certain events and characters to feel different from their original counterparts.
Twitter user gow123_ found a universe where Sarah Morgan is a houseplant during their run in New Game Plus. In the image, the player is in the first Starfield main quest, One Small Step, where one of the actions is to talk to Sarah Morgan, the leader of the Constellation. But instead of meeting Sarah Morgan, the player discovers that Sarah has become a houseplant, and to their surprise, it is possible to «talk to the character.» In one of the three dialog options, the Starfield player character even asks «Sarah to shake her leaves if she understands» their request for help in finding the Artifacts.
Other Twitter users were surprised by the player's discovery, as many have yet to see this version of Sarah Morgan. This isn't the first time New Game Plus has created funny situations for Starfield players, however. Other discoveries include a reality where the members of the Constellation are all children, as well as Starfield players who found versions of themselves. In another scenario, an evil version of the player kills everyone in the Constellation, and only Sarah narrowly survives.
